Well, I've now been in Barcelona for a total of 6 days. Quite possibly some of the best days of my life.
After a 3 hour layover in Newark, NJ, and a 12 hour flight to Spain we finally arrived here in the capital of Catalonia. The cab ride from the airport was awesome and I held a pretty solid conversation with him on the way to our new apartments (no idea how I still remember so much spanish). We got moved into our apartment on the third floor and met some of our neighbors here who are from clemson. They are cool I guess. We didn't even take time to unpack we just went straight to exploring. About a two minute walk from our apartment is Las Ramblas which is a giant pedestrian boulevard full of all sorts of crazy things. We wandered all around to try and get a feel for the town then headed to Parallel to grab some Tapas for dinner (delicious). After which we proceeded to get lost on our way home and did some unintentional exploring which led to an awesome show at a fountain.
Over the next few days we continued to explore, drink lots of wine, and see crazy things (completely naked man walking down the sidewalk wearing a backpack / homeless man taking a shit on the sidewalk). But yea, too much craziness to write everything at the moment.
About to head to Photo class for 2 hours before we head to Amsterdam for the weekend! WH09P!!!
More to come later. Hasta!
i wanna pllaaayy!!! i miss you! :)
